The SIWI board has decided to increase the prize sum to the winning projects both the SJWP and Diploma of Excellence. They have also decided to establish a brand new prize that is directed to the school where the SJWP winner is studying. 
The new sums will be as follows:


SJWP winner – 15.000USD
SJWP winners school – 5.000USD
Dipl. Of Exc. – 3.000USD
